The Green

The Green is a little gem we discovered on our way to the Dirty Heads concert.  We noticed a couple of really sparkly statues.  Before we left Charlotte, we took a stroll from our hotel to go to the Green.  Not only does it have some really cool artwork on the outdoor premises.  There are signs pointing in the direction of a city based off the first and last name of an author.

We need a place like this in Raleigh.

Tornadoes...and...Adventure

Luckily for us, the tornadoes were to our west and east, and it appears so far, all our friends and family are safe and sound.  The wx geek in me...enjoyed watching the doppler radar with the recent outbreak of tornadoes in our area.  We actually had some textbook echos on the radar.  No, I don't have a morbid sense of humor, I just have a meteorology degree.  :)

Tomorrow, Wezul and I will begin our little adventure.  :)  We will be submitting clues on the onset of our playtime.

I am really looking forward to it!  All I can say is, the third time might be the charm.  :)

Here we go again

As I watch the clock tick down, I can't help but to remember Wezul's dark time.  It amazes me how clear the writing was on the wall, but yet, one still hopes for the best.  We survived Wezul's hiccups, we will survive this one.
