Party Time

Woo hoo!! I'm free...thank goodness...I am on break. Yeah!!

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N!!!!!

Two more glorious weeks of vacation. I will be sad to see this year pass. I have set a new record for myself...I will have taken 8+ weeks off this year. That doesn't include those lovely federal holidays. Some days - I love my job!!

On the days that Wezul has to work, I will not be Environwx...I will be a mad little, cooking, baking housewife.

Meet Mr. DIY

As I mentioned in my previous post, Wezul and Neighbor Ken are brewing some beer. Unfortunately for me, the beer didn't leak. Therefore, I am going to have to wait even longer for hardwood floors...why did I suggest Wezul buy some new seals...Stupid Me!!Anyways, Wezul and NK filled the bottles yesterday. Now they have about 2-3 weeks before they can taste the fruits of their labor. Yesterday, I went on a quest to find an appropriate centerpiece for our dining room table. Instead of buying one, I decided to make one to save some $$$. However, Wezul decided to take it one step further and add a little greenery...and who said your high school job at a garden center wouldn't pay off later in your life...The final outcome of our little craft day....

Just Checking In

Time is flying by fast. Can you believe it is almost Christmas time and 2009 is almost here. I know we can't. We have hardly been home since we returned from our Thanksgiving trip. But, that is life.

Things could be getting interesting. Wezul and Neighbor Ken have decided to try and brew some beer. Wezul has done this before, but N. K is a newbie. It is definitely a science project in the making. Hopefully, we have no little accidents because Wezul has the bucket of water that is "not beer yet" sitting in the dining room over the carpet. Hmmmm...of course, me being me...is like...isn't there a spot on the non-carpeted floor for that?!? So if it leaks, the carpet won't get ruined...Or...maybe I should let it leak on the carpet, and maybe I'll be able to get my hardwood floors in the dining room and kitchen...

Hmmm...that's a thought...let the beer ruin the carpet...I might be on to something here. Shhhhh!!! Don't tell Wezul.......
