Mount St. Helens

No words can describe the awe of seeing Mount St. Helens for the first time.  It is just amazing.  Unfortunately, we could not drive up to the Johnston Ridge Observatory because it was still closed for the season due to the current road conditions.

This gives us enough incentive to plan a return visit.

So far, this is the ultimate highlight of the trip.
