As you can tell, Wezul and I have landed in our nation's capital again. When I say landed, I mean we drove. We decided to stay at the same hotel we stayed on our way home from Canada. This means we can walk to the majority of the sites in the area on foot.
FYI - from our hotel to our first stop which was the Museum of Natural History, it is approximately 1.1 miles one way. Hence the tired piggies!
Today we visited the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History and the National Archives to visit the Charters of Freedom. I definitely can tell the difference between the way Wezul's mind works compared to mine. I am trying to soak in all the information possible, and Wezul is looking and bolting. It worked out well if you like chasing someone who is ready to go. The biggest disappointment so far was the condition of the Declaration of Independence. It hasn't held up as well as the Constitution. I guess that is what they get for letting Nicholas Cage run around with it in National Treasure. Haha! Just kidding...
We have couple more days in the "area". Take you best chance at guessing where we are headed tomorrow. Heehee!
